We have an exciting opportunity for you!&nbsp;Nevada Gold Mines is looking for a Process Maintenance Technician&nbsp;to join our Turquoise Ridge operations.&nbsp; The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs of Ball and SAG mills, gear boxes and agitators, centrifugal pumps, vibrating screens, process crushing and conveying maintenance.<i>&nbsp;</i>At Nevada Gold Mines, our vision is to be the world’s most valued gold mining business by finding, developing, and operating the best assets with the best people. We are committed to a safe work environment sending every person home safe and healthy every day and leaving a sustainable legacy on our host communities.</p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<p>Reporting to the Process Maintenance Supervisor, the Process Maintenance Technician is responsible for the following:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs of Ball and SAG mills, gear boxes and agitators, centrifugal pumps, vibrating screens, process crushing and conveying maintenance</li>\n <li>Perform crushing and conveying maintenance on equipment including, but not limited to: cone, gyratory, and jaw crushers and several types and configurations of conveyor belting structures, both fixed and mobile</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent safety and attendance record&nbsp;<strong>required</strong></li>\n <li>Millwright, or similar, with welding and/or mechanical experience&nbsp;<strong>required</strong></li>\n <li>Housekeeping standards are maintained to a high level&nbsp;<strong>required</strong></li>\n <li>Willing to work in a team-based maintenance organization&nbsp;<strong>required</strong></li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and work with minimum supervision&nbsp;<strong>required</strong></li>\n <li>Ability to work in adverse weather conditions&nbsp;<strong>required</strong></li>\n <li>Basic knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics&nbsp;<strong>required</strong></li>\n <li>Skilled in mild steel cutting and position welding&nbsp;<strong>required</strong></li>\n <li>Ability to lift at least fifty (50) pounds&nbsp;<strong>required</strong></li>\n <li>Excellent verbal, written, and radio communication skills&nbsp;<strong>required</strong></li>\n <li>Ability to perform the essential functions of this position&nbsp;<strong>required</strong></li>\n <li>Experience with conveyors, chutes, crushers, rollers, pulleys, and bearings&nbsp;<strong>preferred</strong></li>\n <li>Experience with preventative maintenance and repairs of Ball and SAG mills, gear boxes and agitators, centrifugal pumps, vibrating screens&nbsp;<strong>preferred</strong></li>\n <li>Understanding of basic oil analysis, thermography and vibration analysis&nbsp;<strong>preferred</strong></li>\n <li>Understanding of precision alignment techniques&nbsp;<strong>preferred</strong></li>\n <li>The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.</li>\n</ul>",
