          "text": "<p>Plant Manager</p><p>Philadelphia, PA</p><p><br /></p><p>SUMMARY</p><p><br /></p><p>Our well established and growing manufacturing client in Philadelphia is seeking a Plant Manager to direct and manage all plant operations with overall responsibilities for safety, production, maintenance, quality and other production-related activities. Plant Manager will ensure all production operations are running efficiently and effectively and allocate labor to all operations to maximize productivity.</p><p><br /></p><p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:</p><p><br /></p><p>Carries out responsibilities in accordance with Plant’s policies and applicable laws.</p><p><br /></p><p>•\tDirect and manage plant operations to ensure the business objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.&nbsp;</p><p>•\tProvides direct supervision and leadership to production work groups.</p><p>•\tDevelop and control production plans, budget, health, and safety.</p><p>•\tImplement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages and salaries; including profit and loss responsibility.</p><p>•\tManage capital asset maintenance.&nbsp;</p><p>•\tControl and minimize labor overtime, premium freight and repair expenses.&nbsp;</p><p>•\tMaintain existing plant facilities and equipment; replace, or make adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary.&nbsp;</p><p>•\tProvide direction, leadership, development and training to supervisors and team to drive the completion of goals and objectives.&nbsp;</p><p>•\tImplement and maintain preventive maintenance, standardized work and lean manufacturing programs.&nbsp;</p><p>•\tIncorporate shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel.&nbsp;</p><p>•\tDevelop, implement and maintain an effective safety program and ensure compliance to satisfy the requirements of local legislation, EPA and OSHA.</p><p>•\tMaintain superior customer service and on-time delivery.</p><p>•\tOther duties as assigned.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>",
