    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p>POSITION SUMMARY<br><br>DEFINITION<br>Under general direction, and in accordance with the State of California Practice Nurse Act, plans, organizes, and supervises nursing staff; manages, reports on, and provides resources for direct patient care in major inpatient units and outpatient units as directed; and to perform related work as required.<br><br>CLASS CHARACTERISTICS<br>This class reports directly to a senior level hospital management staff member. Week-end rotation is required<br><br>POSITION QUALIFICATIONS<br>Education<br>Possession of Associate&rsquo;s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.<br><br>Experience<br>Minimum 2 years as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an acute care setting.
