LMA (Lead, Manage, Accountability) Lead personnel through holding accountable, career development, coaching, teaching, training, mentoring, and reviews.</p>\n<p>o Managing your crew</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>2. Must demand &amp; cultivate safety culture including: adherence to applicable rules &amp; regulations, training, &amp; PPE.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>3. Be accountable for the Execution &amp; Quality of the work performed by you, your crew, or your subs/suppliers.</p>\n<p>o Subs/Suppliers would consist of the following:</p>\n<p>i. Trucking</p>\n<p>ii. Coring/Cutting</p>\n<p>iii. Concrete &amp; Granular</p>\n<p>iv. Vac Trucks</p>\n<p>v. Dumpsters</p>\n<p>vi. Etc.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>4. Proactively plan your portion of the work and be accountable for the 3-5 day look-ahead schedule.</p>\n<p>o Weekend/After Hours Coverage, as needed/required.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>5. Own the budget for your portion of the job (labor, material, and equipment).</p>\n<p>o Know our contract scope of work, manage change orders through Superintendent and/or PM.</p>\n<p>o Manage project during/after weather.</p>\n<p>o Consistently attain production rates.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Additional Duties:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>· Use good logic/reasoning in decision making.</p>\n<p>· Oversight of field personnel on a daily basis</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>o Resolve personnel issues à run up the chain of command when required.</p>\n<p>o Report “pulse” of workers back to superintendent and/or DOFO periodically</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>· Planning and execution of daily schedule to complete jobs on time and on budget</p>\n<p>· Manage pump truck, will calls, inspections, testing, washouts once they are setup by Superintendent.</p>\n<p>· Monitor productivity by using unit rates from bid, scoreboard, etc. à communicate to crew and adapt processes, as needed.</p>\n<p>· Ensure compliance of all company policies and procedures.</p>\n<p>· Ensure compliance of all safety procedures and policies and promotes safety culture.</p>\n<p>· Work alongside field employees to complete daily production.</p>\n<p>· Complete necessary paperwork and entries into Time Tracking system.</p>\n<p>· Lean Change agent.</p>\n<p>· Communicating with superintendent on a daily basis.</p>\n<p>· Make sure jobs are ready for the next phase à i.e., no loose ends.</p>\n<p>· Focus on fixing problems that arise.</p>\n<p>· Lead by example.</p>\n<p>· Create a team atmosphere where everyone is in it together.</p>\n<p>· Make sure new team members are aware of what is needed/expected of them.</p>\n<p>· Manage efficient use of rental equipment.</p>\n<p>· Preventative Maintenance of equipment, as needed.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>- Bilingual in Spanish a plus, but not a requirement.</p>\n<p>- Must posses valid DL in good standing. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Statement: Merritt Contracting is an equal opportunity employer and follows all state and federal laws regarding EEO and anti-discrimination.
