This role requires workers to be organized, flexible and adaptable. If you feel like this would be a good fit for your personality and career ambition, we encourage you to apply!</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the facility:</span> The Licensed Group Home is responsible for providing guidance, support and supervision for individuals with Cognitive, Mental and Physical Disabilities that require 24/7 care.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the position: </span>Working 12-hour shifts with a rotating schedule, Personal Care Workers support and supervise individuals with physical abilities; use a team approach to plan, organize and supervise daily activities; prepare and serve meals as planned; administer prescribed medications;</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support and supervise individuals with physical disabilities;</li>\n<li>Use a team approach to plan, organize and supervise daily activities, recreational and other services;</li>\n<li>Prepare and serve meals as planned;</li>\n<li>Assess needs of residents on an on-going basis;</li>\n<li>Maintain sanitation of Group Home;</li>\n<li>12- hour shift with rotating schedule;</li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned by supervisor;</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<p> Suitable candidates will have a minimum Grade 12; Personal Care Worker, Continuing Care Aide or Home Health Aide Certificate or equivalent is preferred; Certified First Aide &amp; CPR and Safe Food Handling Certificate required or willing to obtain; Previous home care or childcare experience is an preferred; Experience working with First Nations Communities is an asset; Valid Driver’s License preferred.</p>\n<p>Combination of Education and Experience may be considered;</p>\n<p>on the job training will be provided.</p>",
