Description Do you want to enhance your corporate tax experience with a cutting-edge technology company? Are you excited about joining a team of tax professionals that manage global direct and indirect tax activities? Join our Global Tax Team! Our global tax team based in Cambridge and Krakow, Poland. We are also responsible for tax planning and forecasting. Further, we are responsible for determining the tax impacts of new transactions and acquisitions. Partner with the best In this role you will prepare the Company's US Federal income tax provision and all required SEC disclosures. You will also assist with various federal and state income tax filing requirements as needed. You will foster and develop cross-functional partnerships with various Finance teams including Accounting, FP&A and Treasury. This position will report to the Senior Tax Manager. As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for: Preparing/supporting the quarterly/annual US income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740, including current/deferred tax calculations, performing valuation allowance assessments and uncertain tax position analysis Assisting with the preparation of tax-related disclosures for SEC filings (Forms 10-Q and 10-K) Supporting federal income tax compliance including the preparation of federal income tax returns and related workpapers Partnering with accounting, FP&A and treasury to ensure accurate and complete data inputs Contributing to special projects, including process improvements, tax planning initiatives and modeling Leveraging tools such as Alteryx and AI-based solutions (e.g., Gemini) to automate processes and improve efficiency Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: Have 4 years of relevant corporate income tax experience, preferably from public accounting and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Demonstrate attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all deliverables Possess an excellent understanding of Excel (including Pivot Tables, XLookups, etc.) Communicate proactively and clearly with team members and stakeholders Display excellent organizational skills, with strengths in managing priorities and multiple tasks Show a willingness to continuously learn and grow your income tax accounting and compliance technical knowledge Work in a way that works for you FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
