    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p><br></p></div><p data-pasted=\"true\">Summary:</p><p>The Summer Seasonal Landscaper is responsible for the cultivation and care of the landscaping and grounds surrounding a company building including but not limited to toll plaza, travel plazas and maintenance facilities. Caution must be exercised in operating lawn maintenance equipment in order to prevent damage to equipment or injury to employees and the motoring public.</p><p>Position requires continual sitting, standing, bending, and moving of materials requiring frequent exertion and strain while operating highway maintenance equipment. Moderate manual dexterity is required to operate equipment.</p><p>The position is seasonal with employment NOT to extend beyond September, unless weather conditions dictate, and the Company decides to extend employment through duration of project.</p><p>Relationships:</p><p>&bull; Works either independently or with a crew of employees. Frequent contact with the motoring public, Indiana State Police and other ITR department personnel.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>&bull; Performs all tasks safely, complies with all internal and external safety requirements, supports ITRCC safety culture, attends all safety trainings</p><p>and completes all compliance trainings as required by ITRCC.</p><p>&bull; Trims around hedges and signs and cuts down and removes dead trees</p><p>&bull; Assists in performing various summer maintenance activities, such as operating and maintaining lawn equipment, sign, guardrail, and fence repair, rest and other related functions that are assigned and carried out</p><p>&bull; Ensure proper care and cleaning of equipment as instructed by supervisor</p><p>&bull; Performs other duties as assigned</p><p>Qualifications:</p><p>&bull; High school diploma/ GED</p><p>&bull; Ability to use various hand tools and materials used in highway maintenance</p><p>&bull; Ability to operate a riding lawn mower</p><p>&bull; Ability to follow instructions</p><p>&bull; Must possess and maintain a valid driver&rsquo;s license</p><p>Desirable Experience:</p><p>&bull; 1-2 years&rsquo; experience with common equipment used in highway operations</p><p>&bull; Previous mowing experience</p><p data-pasted=\"true\">Working Conditions:</p><p>&bull; This position requires: (Frequent est. 5 hrs per shift)</p><p>&bull; Frequent sitting</p><p>&bull; Exposure to inclement weather, fumes, exhaust, noise, vibrations, dust, dirt</p><p>&bull; Exposure to fast moving traffic and potential traffic accidents during the performance of duties</p></div></div>\n",
