Medstar provides several types of contracted transportation using wheelchair-accessible vans, buses, or sedans. These may include non-emergency medical transportation, ADA paratransit, fixed-route transportation, shuttle services, Lift and ProMaster transports, cot and stretcher trips and rides with children. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">REQUIREMENTS:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Be over the age of 21 (licensed for at least 5 years)</span></li>\n<li><span>Must have a valid Driver’s License</span></li>\n<li><span>Must NOT have more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years</span></li>\n<li><span>Must pass a DOT drug screening and mandatory criminal background check</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Must be physically able to secure clients in wheelchairs or other devices</span></li>\n<li><span>Must have a positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others</span></li>\n<li><span>Must be available to drive varying shifts and rotational on-call duties as assigned, based on operational needs<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> </span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Communicate clearly and effectively with dispatch</span></li>\n<li><span>Utilize a smartphone for job functions</span></li>\n<li><span>Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintain vehicle cleanliness</span></li>\n<li><span>Transport clients safely and securely using a company vehicle</span></li>\n<li><span>Participate in rotational on-call duties</span></li>\n<li><span>Perform other duties as assigned</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">HIRING PROCESS (GET HIRED IN LESS THAN 5 DAYS)</span></p>\n<ol>\n<li><span>Submit your application.</span></li>\n<li><span>Receive a job shadow invitation via text, email or phone call.</span></li>\n<li><span>Attend a one-hour job shadow and pass the background check.</span></li>\n<li><span>Once cleared, receive a drug screening link via email.</span></li>\n<li><span>Complete virtual classroom training, fingerprinting, and other paperwork.</span></li>\n<li><span>Attend a 4- to 5-day PAID in-vehicle training with a trainer in your assigned area.</span></li>\n<li><span>Get signed off and start driving!</span><br><br></li>\n</ol>\n<p><span>Learn more about Medstar Transportation: <a href=\"https://gomedstar.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https://gomedstar.com</a></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>FILL OUT AN APPLICATION AND GET STARTED TODAY!</span></p>",
