We're looking for the best and brightest to take our company to the next level.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Due to growth, it has created a need for a 1st Shift Quality Control Technician at our manufacturing facility in New Berlin, Wisconsin. This role will <span style=\"text-decoration: none solid rgb(0, 0, 0)\">have responsibility for product quality to ensure that product meets or exceeds customer requirements and specifications. </span>The position comes with a competitive hourly wage, full comprehensive benefits program, 401(k) retirement program + match, paid time off and holiday pay. If you are selected for an interview, other information will be shared throughout the interviewing process.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Perform daily in-process inspections, pH and density analysis, environmental swabbing. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Perform monthly walk-through audits. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Collaborates with team members and other departments to ensure process consistency and that the required standards are met. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Acts as the back up to the other QC Technicians and the Lead QC Technician during absences to ensure the integrity of the SQF system. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Responsible for adhering food safety, cGMPs, employee safety, quality standards, sanitary practices, and customer specifications. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Report any food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Other duties as assigned. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION &amp; QUALIFICATIONS </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">High School Diploma or equivalent required. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Associate Degree in Science desired or minimum of 2 years in a food/health related laboratory/QC environment.  </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Exposure to FDA, ISO, cGMP manufacturing/laboratory environment. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">The ability to use and read hand gauges such as ruler, caliper, and micrometer. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Experience with pH meters, specific gravity, moisture analyzer, and bench top titrations. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Microbiological analysis including environmental monitoring.  </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Good computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Leadership skills and ability to influence others. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Exposure to cGMP, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S is desirable. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">OTHER DUTIES </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
