Discover all the possibilities of a career at Northside today.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The Blood Bank Medical Laboratory Technician performs and interprets laboratory tests in the Blood Bank for the diagnosis and care of the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED</u></strong></p>\n<li>Associates Degree in laboratory science (Chemical or Biological Science) or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution and certification as a Medical Lab Technician.</li>\n<li>Acceptable certifying agencies include: ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW) </li>\n<p>OR</p>\n<li>Medical Laboratory Certificate Program completion and certificate from an accredited institution and certification as a Medical Lab Technician.</li>\n<li>Acceptable certifying agencies include: ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW)</li>\n<p>OR</p>\n<li>Graduate of a Military Program in Science (health science, biology, chemical, physical, medical technology) and certification as a Medical Lab Technician.</li>\n<li>Ability to implement and perform clinical laboratory procedures according to proper standards and regulations.</li>\n<li>Must submit to a Color-Acuity Screening Test</li>\n<p><strong><u> </u></strong><strong><u>KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Experience in a Clinical Laboratory setting</li>\n<h2>Work Hours:</h2>1:00pm - 11:30pm - 4 - 10s - with every third weekend rotation - Days varying\n<h2>Weekend Requirements:</h2>Yes",
