    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Position: </strong>Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)</p>\n<p><strong>Location: </strong>San Antonio, TX</p>\n<p><strong>Schedule: </strong>PRN, as needed</p>\n<p><strong>Compensation:</strong> $45.00 - $50.00/hour</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking a PRN Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to join our team at our outpatient orthopedic clinic!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In this role, you’ll treat various upper extremity disorders including tendon injuries, sprains, strains, post-operative fractures, and more. Experience in custom splinting is required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our regional hand therapy coordinator will work with you to ensure you have everything you need to succeed.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Why Choose Us:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Hand Therapy</strong><strong> Program:</strong> Our national hand therapy program spans 32 states, with over 300 CHTs and 300 hand therapists across the country.</li>\n <li><strong>Educational Opportunities:</strong> Take part in the National Upper Extremity (UE) symposium, national journal club, free local continuing education programs, national study group and additional certification courses.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for the evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers.</li>\n <li>Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs.</li>\n <li>Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.</li>\n <li>Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of an accredited school for occupational or physical therapy</li>\n <li>Hold specialty certification or licensure in hand therapy</li>\n <li>National registration and state licensure or registration required</li>\n <li>Previous,demonstrated marketing experience</li>\n <li>Solid experience in application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic </li>\n <li>CPR certification</li>\n <li>Valid state driver’s license</li>\n</ul>",
