This includes having to stay in hotels for extended periods.&nbsp; All travel expenses are covered for out of town assignment.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Monitor&nbsp;and document construction activities at solid waste landfill facilities including field inspection and testing of soils and geosynthetic liners.&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform field and/or laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials (e.g. soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel).</li>\r\n\t<li>Communicate with project manager, engineering technicians, client representative, contractor&rsquo;s representative and others as applicable regarding the construction site, project requirements, and testing, observation, and inspection requirements and results.</li>\r\n\t<li>Tabulate, prepare, and submit data and observation in the form of written and digital reports as work is performed for daily transmittal to the Project Manager.</li>\r\n\t<li>Provide&nbsp;clear documentation of findings and results.</li>\r\n\t<li>Well field monitoring/tuning.</li>\r\n\t<li>Monitor a variety of elements including explosive gas, surface emission, liquid level, LFG flare, etc.</li>\r\n\t<li>Groundwater sampling using various sampling equipment and methodologies, including bailer, various pumps (low flow sampling), and passive sampling.</li>\r\n\t<li>Landfill leachate, surface water (streams and stormwater), gas (methane, CO2 and O2), and soil (VOCs) sampling.</li>\r\n\t<li>Oversight of soil borings (including detailed textural descriptions of soils).</li>\r\n\t<li>Monitor well/landfill gas probe installation.</li>\r\n\t<li>Sampling soil from Geoprobes and soil borings for various environmental contaminants, including VOCs, SVOCs, PCBs, Pesticides, Herbicides, and Metals/Inorganics.</li>\r\n\t<li>Adhere to strict safety standards.</li>\r\n\t<li>Follow safety rules and practices and other safety requirements for all projects.</li>\r\n\t<li>Report any safety issues or concerns to management.</li>\r\n\t<li>Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects.</li>\r\n\t<li>Pull and clean submersible pumps.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain tools and equipment.</li>\r\n\t<li>Understand how to use on-site equipment.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>HS Diploma required;
