    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>SUMMARY OF POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITY:</strong></p><p>The Countertop Template Specialist plays a critical role in obtaining accurate measurements for countertop fabrication and installation. This position requires precision, strong communication, and knowledge of stone fabrication processes. The role involves daily travel to job sites, interaction with customers, and collaboration with production teams to ensure accurate templates and successful project outcomes.</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Travel daily to residential and commercial job sites to take precise measurements.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Create dimensional drawings based on field measurements (tract and custom jobs).<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Take site photos and confirm placement of sinks, backsplashes, and other features with customers.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Confirm countertop details (stone type, color, edge profile, etc.).<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Translate field drawings into digital templates using AutoCAD or laser equipment.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Operate CAD software to produce accurate installation plans.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Communicate with other departments regarding modifications or clarifications to templates.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Identify and document site issues, reporting them clearly on drawings.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Collaborate with production planning and fabrication teams to align templates with available materials.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain accurate logs of drawings, templates, and revisions in company systems (e.g., SPS).</li></ul><p><em>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.</em></p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR TRAINING):</strong></p><p><strong>Preferred Education:</strong></p><ol><li>Associate degree in Draft or Civil Engineering</li></ol><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;2. Knowledge of stone fabrication and installation processes&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Required Education:</strong></p><ol><li>High school diploma, or equivalent<br>&nbsp;</li></ol><p><strong>Preferred Experience:</strong></p><ul type=\"circle\"><li>Experience using laser measuring equipment LPI- LT 2D 3D</li></ul><p><strong>Required Experience:</strong></p><ul type=\"circle\"><li>1 to 2 years&rsquo; experience in operating CAD software&nbsp;(AutoCAD preferred).</li><li>Experience in Laser Template Measurement (LT3 RAPTOR, Flexijet 3D Digital Templating System)</li><li>Field experience in countertop fabrication, templating, or installation.</li></ul><p><strong>ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA):</strong></p><p><strong>Knowledge:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Countertop fabrication and installation methods.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>CAD software for drawing and planning.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Reading and analyzing architectural plans and layouts.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>CAD proficiency for simple-to-moderate drawings.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills.</li></ul><p><strong>Abilities:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Accurately record measurements using tapes, lasers, or templating machines.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Produce clear, legible, and accurate field drawings.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple site visits.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Troubleshoot site conditions and provide practical solutions.</li></ul><p><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT:</strong></p><ul><li>This position will be primarily performed in the field, with frequent site visits to active construction environments. It will also involve working at our office, where drawing reviews and digital templating will be performed.
