We provide a full range of industrial facilities maintenance and process maintenance services.</p>\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p>MOR PPM Inc. is interested in hiring a forklift operator in Aiken, SC. The Forklift/Loader Operator is responsible for the proper care and operation of equipment such as forklifts and loaders and for maintaining a safe working environment.</p>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensures equipment is maintained according to company standards and customer contracts</li>\n <li>Operates company equipment safely</li>\n <li>Assists with the maintenance of company equipment and vehicles</li>\n <li>Records vehicle information accurately and legibly</li>\n <li>Maintains a positive and professional demeanor</li>\n <li>Follows yard guidelines to maintain a safe working environment (i.e. speed limits, etc.)</li>\n <li>Must be able to load and unload vehicles as required</li>\n <li>Must be able to pass training and safety requirements</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent customer service attitude and skills</li>\n <li>Proficient written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Ability to operate basic equipment</li>\n <li>Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail</li>\n <li>HS diploma or GED preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>At least two years of work experience</li>\n <li>One year of loader or forklift experience, certification preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign</li>\n <li>May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds</li>\n <li>Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above</li>\n <li>Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas</li>\n <li>Must have full range of motion consistent with age</li>\n <li>Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders</li>\n <li>Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises</li>\n <li>Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces</li>\n <li>Safety/Steel toe shoes are required. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
