Description
This position is contingent upon successful contract award.
Serves as the primary authority for maintaining the quality, integrity, and effectiveness of the training curriculum. Oversees the Instructional Systems Design (ISD) process, ensuring all training programs meet Navy Education and Training Command (NETC) standards. The LSO bridges the gap between tactical proficiency and educational excellence by evaluating instructor performance, auditing curriculum, and managing the end-to-end training lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Management: Oversee development, revision, and maintenance of training materials, ensuring all coursework aligns with the NETC End-to-End (E2E) process . Quality Assurance: Conduct regular training program evaluations and classroom observations to ensure instructional delivery meets established standards. Instructional Design: Apply Instructional Systems Design (ISD) principles to ensure training requirements address specific mission essential tasks. Instructor Mentorship: Provide high-level guidance to instructional staff, facilitating professional development and assisting personnel in achieving advanced instructional milestones. Compliance & Auditing: Review and validate training documentation, course certificates, and instructional records to ensure 100% compliance with Navy and command-level requirements. Reporting: Utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to draft comprehensive evaluation reports, brief senior leadership on training trends, and manage curriculum databases.
