    "description": "<p>We are seeking a hands-on Director of Technology to lead day-to-day execution across <br>infrastructure, applications, IT operations, and technical vendors. This leader will help scale the <br>company’s technology function during a period of significant growth by improving reliability, <br>delivery, business alignment, and operational discipline. The ideal candidate is equally <br>comfortable driving strategy, managing budgets across capex and opex, and stepping into the <br>details when needed.</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You Will Own</span><br><br>Lead day-to-day technology operations across infrastructure, business systems, internal IT, and <br>application delivery.<br>Oversee both infrastructure and applications, ensuring stability, scalability, security, and business <br>alignment.<br>Manage technology budgets across operating expenses and capital expenditures, including software, <br>cloud, infrastructure, telecom, and technical services.<br>Drive vendor management, renewal planning, cost optimization, and accountability for third-party <br>partners and contractors.<br>Build practical operating discipline for service delivery, change management, escalation, <br>documentation, and release coordination.<br>Partner with operations, finance, and executive leadership to prioritize initiatives that improve <br>visibility, efficiency, and growth.<br>Support systems integration, acquired business onboarding, and scaling efforts as the company grows <br>through 2029.<br>Develop KPIs, reporting rhythms, and execution follow-through for the technology function.</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We Are Looking For</span></p>\n<p><br>8+ years of progressive technology leadership experience.<br>Experience leading both infrastructure and applications or business systems in a growing business.<br>Strong operational mindset with the ability to execute in a lean environment without relying on a large <br>internal team.<br>Experience managing budgets, vendors, technical roadmaps, and cross-functional priorities.<br>Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders and translate technical work into <br>business value.<br>Comfort balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution.<br>Preferred Background<br>Experience in multi-site, field service, industrial, facilities, compliance, construction, or similarly <br>operational businesses.<br>Experience in a PE-backed, high-growth, or acquisition-oriented environment.<br>Track record of improving reliability, delivery discipline, and scale in a small or mid-sized organization.<br>Experience leading internal staff as well as external vendors, contractors, or managed service partners.</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why This Role Matters</span></p>\n<p><br>This role is designed for a growing business that is building a stronger technology foundation to <br>support meaningful expansion over the next several years.
