The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise remediating complex documents &#8212; including those in <strong>STEM, music, and the arts</strong> &#8212; to ensure compliance with accessibility standards such as WCAG, Section 508, and PDF/UA.</p><hr><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Remediate digital documents of varying complexity, with a focus on content related to <strong>STEM, music, and the arts</strong></p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA, Section 508, and PDF/UA accessibility standards</p></li><li><p>Remediate multiple file types, including:</p><ul><li><p>Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint</p></li><li><p>Google Docs, Sheets, Slides</p></li><li><p>Scanned and non-scanned PDFs</p></li></ul></li><li><p>Conduct quality assurance reviews to validate accuracy and accessibility</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with team members to support efficient, user-friendly submission and workflow processes</p></li><li><p>Meet turnaround timelines for both simple and complex file types</p></li></ul><hr><h3><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></h3><ul><li><p>2+ years of experience in document accessibility remediation</p></li><li><p>Proven experience remediating documents in <strong>STEM, music, and the arts disciplines</strong></p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1, Section 508, and PDF/UA standards</p></li><li><p>Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro and accessibility tools such as CommonLook, Equidox, or similar</p></li><li><p>Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively</p></li><li><p>Strong communication and organizational skills</p></li></ul><hr><h3><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Certification such as CPACC or WAS</p></li><li><p>Experience working with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Canvas)</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with educational institutions or large-scale remediation projects</p></li></ul><p>TestPros, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</p><p><strong>EEO Statement</strong></p><p>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, age, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability.
