    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking experienced Design Engineers to support engineering design, documentation development, and technical validation activities associated with the device installation across FAA facilities as part of the BNATCS modernization effort. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">The Design Engineer plays a critical role in translating site survey data into approved engineering documentation, reviewing vendor deliverables (SSWs, SSRs, SIPs), supporting position mapping, validating telecommunications and radio interface configurations, and ensuring compliance with FAA VoIP-based VCS architecture standards.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">This position ensures technical consistency, safety, and install readiness across all sites.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Engineering Design Development</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Develop and/or review Site Installation Plans (SIPs) for integration.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Validate equipment placement, rack elevations, cable routing, power requirements, and network connectivity.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ensure integration aligns with approved VoIP-based VCS architecture.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Support position mapping and workstation configuration planning.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Technical Documentation Review</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Review Vendor Site Survey Worksheets (SSWs) and Site Survey Reports (SSRs) for completeness and compliance.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Identify design discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Document findings and recommended revisions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ensure documentation meets FAA standards and BNATCS program requirements.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Telecommunications &amp; Interface Engineering</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Validate telecom circuits, IP addressing, VLAN assignments, and network interface requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Review radio, legal recording, and inter-system connectivity requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ensure configuration consistency across multiple deployment waves.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Support coordination with Engineering Services and Technical Operations.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Installation &amp; Cutover Engineering Support</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Provide reach-back engineering support during installation windows.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Support technical troubleshooting during integration.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Validate as-built documentation and final configuration compliance.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Deliverables &amp; Compliance</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Support generation of:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Reviewed and commented on SSWs, SSRs, and SIPs</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Installation coordination records</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Technical verification documentation</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Legacy system transition planning documentation</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant prior to acceptance.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Skills Required:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">College degree (or equivalent military or field experience).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Minimum 12 years of progressive experience supporting engineering design for communications, VoIP, ATC, radar, or mission-critical systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong experience reviewing and producing engineering installation documentation.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Working knowledge of IP networking fundamentals (routing, switching, VLANs, addressing).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to interpret and produce:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Rack elevations</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Wiring diagrams</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Interconnect diagrams</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Equipment layouts</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Experience supporting multi-site nationwide deployments.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation plans.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail in safety-critical environments.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Proficiency using test equipment (e.g., multimeters, cable testers, continuity testers).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Work Environment &amp; Travel</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Work is primarily performed on-site at FAA facilities across the NAS, with additional work at contractor or integrator facilities as required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Position requires frequent nationwide travel to FAA sites in support of surveys, remediation, installation readiness, and disposition execution.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Additionally, US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is a must. Upon receiving a conditional offer of employment, candidates will undergo a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for Government clearance. Verification of past employment, education and references is also required. It is imperative that candidates be either a US citizen or a current green card holder with the last 3 consecutive years as a resident of the US.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">The salary range for positions is $50,000 to $175,000. This range is provided as a general guideline and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of compensation. Actual salary offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
