    "description": "<p>We are seeking a competent and experienced Secondary Greek Language Teacher  to join our Middle Years Programme (MYP) team.</p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will deliver engaging Greek language lessons aligned with the MYP framework, fostering a love for language and culture while supporting students' development in communication and critical thinking.</p>\n<p>Responsibilities: </p>\n<p>Teaching and Curriculum Delivery:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan and deliver high-quality Greek language lessons for MYP students, integrating the IB philosophy and MYP framework.</li>\n<li>Develop engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences that promote language acquisition, comprehension, and cultural appreciation.</li>\n<li>Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners, ensuring all students are challenged and supported.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Student Assessment and Feedback:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and implement formative and summative assessments aligned with MYP objectives.</li>\n<li>Provide regular, constructive feedback to students to support their language development and overall growth.</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Collaboration and Professional Development:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work collaboratively with MYP teachers and coordinators to ensure horizontal and vertical alignment of the curriculum.</li>\n<li>Participate in regular planning meetings, MYP training sessions, and professional development opportunities.</li>\n<li>Contribute to interdisciplinary units of inquiry by integrating Greek language and culture into broader themes.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Classroom and Learning Environment:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation and a love of learning.</li>\n<li>Use a variety of resources, including technology, to enhance language learning and engagement.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Other:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in a wider school community activities and committees .</li>\n<li>Organise and facilitate extracurricular activities, clubs, other events to further engage students in the arts beyond the classroom, including field trips.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Stay updated on current trends, techniques, and best practices in art education.</li>\n<li>Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching skills and contribute to the growth of the arts department.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Greek Language is a must.</li>\n<li>Teaching certification or equivalent qualification is an advantage. </li>\n<li>Experience teaching Greek to secondary students. </li>\n<li>Enthusiasm for Greek language and culture, and the ability to inspire students.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Positive attitude to challenging situations and tasks.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.</li>\n<li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive school culture.</li>\n<li>Fluency in English Language. </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Working Hours: Monday to Friday/ 8:00 - 16:00.<br></p>\n<p>Recruitment process:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Panel online interview including Secondary Principal, Primary Greek Language Coordinator and Employee Success Manager (30 minutes).</li>\n<li>Online interview with the Head of School (30 minutes). </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
