    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\">ESP Associates has an immediate opportunity for a Charlotte market lead - Survey Division Manager to support and grow our Community Infrastructure Business Unit in the Charlotte MSA with locations in Fort Mill, SC and Huntersville, NC. &nbsp;</p><p><strong><em>As a leader, you will contribute to setting the pace for ESP&rsquo;s growth in the North Carolina Community Infrastructure market and beyond! &nbsp;You will lead decisions regarding strategy, market penetration, team growth/development, and continuous improvement. &nbsp;&nbsp;</em></strong></p><p>The successful candidate will have an outgoing, can-do attitude to grow and develop staff while working closely with clients, engineers, and sub-consultants to ensure their needs are met. This will include leading business planning, marketing, meeting financial performance goals, and fulfillment of the firm&rsquo;s strategy in North Carolina, as well as supporting the Community Infrastructure Division overall.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Develops and maintains relationships with clients to increase Company exposure and position the Company for survey contracts.</li><li>Business development teaming and lead for Community Infrastructure Survey in the Charlotte market.</li><li>Manage and oversee all aspects of survey projects and operations, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and quality control measures.</li><li>Administer contracts and manage projects, interpret, organize, execute and coordinate assignments.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist Managers with workforce planning, monthly billing, and final review of completed reports and maps.</li><li>Manage the division which includes multiple groups and office locations to achieve expected profitability and growth.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Professional Land Surveyors (PLS) licensure in North Carolina required. &nbsp;Additionally, South Carolina PLS preferred.</li><li>Experience performing business development and maintaining relationships with clients.</li><li>10+ years of progressive experience in surveying&nbsp;management, specifically supporting community infrastructure survey projects.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills to effectively and professionally interact with team members, clients, governmental review authorities, government officials, and the public.</li><li>Demonstrated expertise adjusting to priorities and demands from multiple clients and projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, multi-disciplinary environment.</li><li>Firm understanding of risk management and loss prevention.</li><li>Superior organizational and planning skills with keen attention to detail.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of survey and mapping principles, practice standards, procedures and project management.</li><li>Experience with survey computations and platting using Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and ArcGIS, as well as field experience with Trimble Survey field equipment.&nbsp;</li><li>Candidate must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company&rsquo;s driving (MVR) policy. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Corporate Information:</strong></p><p>ESP is a multi-discipline engineering design and consulting firm providing our clients with civil engineering, surveying, planning/landscape architecture, geosciences, environmental, subsurface utility engineering, and construction engineering inspection.</p><p>Through years of dedicated service to our clients, ESP has received a designation of 195 on the 2025 ENR Top 500 Design Firm rankings.
