    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\">Facility Maintenance Technicians at the Whitewater Center (Whitewater) work in small crews or alone to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment and facilities with a focus on enabling a high-quality guest experience. While general labor is often required, specialization in a trade is beneficial &ndash; e.g., carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC. Technicians are on-site and can either be hired as full-time, benefits eligible employees or part-time seasonal employees reporting directly to a crew manager.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Maintain, inspect, and repair all features of a public facility that operates year-round with high levels of traffic and extensive operating hours.</li><li>Effectively manage a dynamic task list and an extensive preventative maintenance schedule with the ability to adapt and answer immediate needs as they arise.</li><li>Operate vehicles, tractors, and other heavy equipment.</li><li>Assist with building, construction, and improvement projects as needed &ndash; including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, mechanical, woodworking, and general housekeeping.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Requirements&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Experience in commercial and industrial maintenance or commercial construction.</li><li>Additional experience in a specialized trade &ndash; e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC.</li><li>Proficiency in working with a variety of basic/specialized hand and power tools.</li><li>Basic knowledge of building equipment, building codes, and building systems.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret documents with strong attention to detail &ndash; e.g., safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, hydraulic and electrical prints, and other manuals.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.</li><li>Basic computer skills.</li><li>Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks efficiently.</li><li>Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and during Whitewater events as needed.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must be able to safely self-transport over uneven terrain or in a confined space.</li><li>Must be able to stand for sustained periods of time.</li><li>Must be able to lift and move at least 50+ pounds.</li><li>Must be able to reach, bend, and stoop frequently.</li><li>Must be able to work at heights.</li><li>Must be able to work outdoors for sustained periods of time under varying weather conditions.</li><li>All positions at Whitewater require employees to report and work onsite at Whitewater locations.</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Access to Whitewater Center&#39;s pass activities</li><li>Staff discount program and pro deals</li><li>401K</li><li>Health, Dental, Vision, FSA (FT only)</li></ul><p><strong>Overview of Department</strong></p><p>The Facilities Department is responsible for facility maintenance, water quality, construction, landscaping, and trail development.
