This position is PRN or as needed for intermittent coverage needs working Monday - Friday. We offer 1:1 patient treatment model, a formal mentorship program and a commitment to continuing education and personal growth. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>Work Location</strong> -<span>&nbsp; </span>8501 Arlington Blvd Suite 200, Fairfax, VA 22031</p><p><i>Inova is consistently ranked a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience.</i> <i>We are also proud to be consistently recognized as a top employer in both the D.C. metro area and the nation.&nbsp;</i></p><p><br><strong>Outpatient Physical Therapist PRN Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>The Physical Therapist PRN selects evaluations and treatment methods appropriate for the patient's diagnosis, age group, and physical/emotional status while formulating appropriate treatment plans.</li><li><span>&nbsp;</span>Demonstrates essential skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform re-evaluations according to department guidelines while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.&nbsp;</li><li>Adheres to department policies regarding the timeframe, form, and content of written evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.</li><li><span>&nbsp;</span>Communicate effectively with patients, families, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts.</li><li><span style=\"font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;\">May perform additional duties as assigned</span></span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Education: Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy</li><li>Licensure: Virginia Physical Therapist Licenser or Physical Therapist compact privileges required upon start&nbsp;</li><li><p>Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association required upon start.</p><p>&nbsp;</p></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Preferred Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><p>Master’s degree preferred</p><p>&nbsp;</p></li><li>One year in outpatient setting&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p>",
