    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Atlantic Health is searching for a qualified Per Diem Exercise Physiologist for Atlantic Health's Cardiac Rehab Department at Chilton Medical Center (Pompton Plains, NJ)</p><p>This exciting opportunity requires an Exercise Physiologist with strong clinical and customer service skills. &nbsp;The ideal candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in delivering cardiac rehab services centered around improving quality of life and outcomes.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Collaborates on Initial assessment and treatment plan design of both our<br>outpatient cardiac rehab and Supervised Exercise Therapy for Peripheral Artery<br>Disease patients.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Provides exercise supervision of all cardiac rehab and SET-PAD patients.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Assists team in maintaining appropriate exercise guidance to aid in optimal<br>patient outcomes.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrates ability to identify signs and symptoms to provide safe and<br>effective environment. Understands when to escalate and report urgent and nonurgent<br>clinical needs of patients.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Has understanding of appropriate physiological changes during cardiac rehab<br>sessions and how to apply to exercise planning.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrates EC G screening and monitoring competency.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Provides risk factor education to patients.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Helps drive patient outcome collection and improvement.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Communicates effectively with other team members and medical staff to<br>maximize patient success and safety.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Delivers education to team members and patients in exercise<br>principles.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Works with entire Cardiac Rehab and leadership team in mentoring new<br>employees and interns.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Collaborates on projects to support the department and the cardiovascular<br>service line.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrates strong teamwork and problem-solving skills<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Other duties may be assigned.</li></ul>",
