Ability to execute highly complex or specialized projects; adapting processes and may shift from traditional approaches to develop solutions. Project facilitator who guides cross-functional teams in executing the principles of Agile Scrum and Kanban frameworks. Provides servant leadership to a team or teams and facilitates planning, team learning in the form of reviews and retrospectives, and adaptation of the process to ensure quality of team/solutions. Ensures the tracking and reporting of daily activities. Works closely with the Product Owner(s) to ensure high velocity and high quality of delivery, while identifying and helping to resolve issues that emerge throughout the product development cycle.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>What you will do</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Serves, leads, coaches and supports multiple simultaneous Agile teams on high-complexity initiatives consisting of internal, external as well as business and technical resources in delivery of IT and business products and solutions.</li>\n <li>Advocates and teaches Agile methodology and processes, ensuring that the team is always following the framework fostering an environment of continuous improvement/learning and driving substantial improvement at the team level. Guides team members in achieving maturity in Agile principles with a track record of increasing velocity as team(s) mature.</li>\n <li>Organizes and facilitates ceremonies and agile practices such as sprint planning, daily standup, backlog refinement/grooming, sprint review, and sprint retrospective alongside the product owner, ensuring the team(s) adhere to the Agile values of courage, focus, commitment, respect and openness in delivering solutions.</li>\n <li>Supports the Product Owner and Team through maintaining data in the appropriate Agile toolset to provide transparency creating visibility to ‘what’ and ‘how’ teams are performing through valuable team metrics.</li>\n <li>Works with the teams to drive the definition and refinement of the program and team backlogs. Ensures scope, goals, milestones, budget, risk, status, change requests and critical issues are effectively communicated creating visibility to ‘what’ and ‘how’ teams are performing through valuable team metrics.</li>\n <li>Identifies and removes technical and/or organizational challenges and impediments to optimize delivery. Resolves complex systemic impediments. Manages risks and issues and acts to ensure they do not recur.</li>\n <li>Participates in communities of practice.</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>\n <li>Complies with all policies and standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Qualifications</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, or commensurate selection criteria experience; or equivalent work experience. - Required</li>\n <li>Preferred Scrum Master experience: 1- 3 years. - Preferred</li>\n <li>Proven understanding of multiple Agile frameworks. - Required</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to form and guide teams to high performance. - Required</li>\n <li>Demonstrated team player with the ability to influence and negotiate. - Required</li>\n <li>Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams. - Required</li>\n <li>Proven situational awareness of when to listen and when to be assertive. - Required</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to coach a team in Agile practices, stressing individuals and interactions over processes and tools. -</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability of continuous improvement to help team clarify goals and actions to achieve them. -</li>\n <li>Proven ability to resolve conflict and shield team from outside distractions and interferences. -</li>\n <li>Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail, including demonstrated experience identifying, defining and quantifying problems; collecting or interpreting data, establishing facts, and providing effective solutions. -</li>\n <li>Proven experience in business analysis, product/project management or product development. -</li>\n <li>Demonstrated verbal and written communication and presentation skills; ability to document procedures and activities in a manner that is understandable to others and prepared using a prescribed format, demonstrating use of the English language to include verbal and written format; comfortable presenting to leadership, business partners and engineering alike. -</li>\n <li>Proven technical aptitude understanding software landscapes ranging from Mainframe, Open Systems, Relational Database, Networking, Security with an understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). -</li>\n <li>Proven skills in documentation and spreadsheet applications. -</li>\n <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office. -</li>\n <li>Previous project leadership experience preferred. -</li>\n <li>Experience with an Agile management tool is a plus, such as Microsoft Team Foundation Server. -</li>\n <li>Certified Scrum Master (CSM) - Preferred</li>\n <li>Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) Preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Work Setting/Position Demands:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Works in an office setting and remains in a stationary position for long periods of time while working at a desk, on a computer or with other standard office equipment, or while in meetings.</li>\n <li>Requires the ability to verbally communicate and exchange accurate information to customers and associates on a regular basis.</li>\n <li>Requires visual acuity to read and interpret a variety of correspondence, procedures, reports and forms via paper and electronic documents, visual inspection involving small defects; small parts, and/or operation of machinery (including inspection); using measurement devices continuously.
