In this role, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers who deliver solutions based on best practices in physics, engineering, and other scientific fields. Team members have autonomy, self-confidence, initiative, and team spirit to seek answers on topics outside and within their area of specialization.</p>\n<h2>You will be responsible for</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Applying principles of physics and engineering to government security related products and projects</li>\n <li>Presenting testing results, analyses, and strategic recommendations to clients</li>\n <li>Analyzing data to inform decisions about process optimization and improvement</li>\n <li>Conducting rigorous product assessments focused on quality, durability, reliability, interoperability, security, and anti-tampering</li>\n <li>Supporting on-site testing conducted at client sites</li>\n <li>Managing product redesigns utilizing a Stage Gate program management framework</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>You will have the following skills and qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ph.D. in Physics, Applied Physics, or a related field</li>\n <li>Required to provide proof of U.S. citizenship and the possession of or ability to obtain a DoD security clearance to support our contracts with the U.S. Government</li>\n <li>Ability to design and execute complex experiments</li>\n <li>Ability to code data into appropriate graphical formats considered a plus</li>\n <li>Knowledge of data analysis and visualization programs such as PowerBI or others considered a plus</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Six Sigma concepts considered a plus</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Superior problem-solving abilities</li>\n <li>Strong teamwork and leadership skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Applicants are encouraged to submit a CV (Curriculum Vitae) with publications (feel free to include publications that are in review or pending) [not restricted to 1 page].</em></p>\n<h2>Life @ Exponent</h2>\n<p>To learn more about life at Exponent and our impact, please visit the following links:https://www.exponent.com/careers/life-exponent https://www.exponent.com/company/our-impact</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Attracting, inspiring, developing, and rewarding exceptional people with diverse backgrounds and expertise are central to our corporate culture. Exponent's total compensation plan is consistent with its expectations of the quality and quantity of work performed and with the professional standards set by Exponent.
