Our Dental team plays a critical role in improving the health of our communities through integrated, team-based care and strong quality standards.</p><hr data-start=\"1232\" data-end=\"1235\"><h3 data-start=\"1237\" data-end=\"1259\">Position Summary</h3><p data-start=\"1260\" data-end=\"1677\">The Director of Dental provides clinical leadership and delivers high-quality preventive and primary dental care at Alluvion Health&rsquo;s dental location and through our Mobile Dental Program. This role leads department performance across clinical quality, provider supervision, productivity, compliance, and continuous improvement while partnering with other departments to support integrated, patient-centered outcomes.</p><p data-start=\"1679\" data-end=\"2027\">The Director of Dental is a champion for Quality Improvement and the Patient-Centered Medical Home model and ensures strong execution of QA/QI, emergency preparedness, and risk management/compliance programs. This leader sets the tone for a respectful, professional environment that supports teamwork, patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.</p><hr data-start=\"2029\" data-end=\"2032\"><h2 data-start=\"2034\" data-end=\"2057\">Key Responsibilities</h2><h3 data-start=\"2059\" data-end=\"2100\">Clinical Care &amp; Provider Leadership</h3><ul><li data-start=\"2103\" data-end=\"2197\">Provide direct patient care, ensuring high-quality dentistry and efficient use of resources.</li><li data-start=\"2200\" data-end=\"2283\">Provide consultation and clinical guidance to dental providers and support staff.</li><li data-start=\"2286\" data-end=\"2384\">Document patient histories, treatment plans, and progress notes in the electronic dental record.</li><li data-start=\"2387\" data-end=\"2449\">Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure HIPAA compliance.</li><li data-start=\"2452\" data-end=\"2548\">Collaborate with medical and behavioral health teams for consultation and referral coordination.</li></ul><h3 data-start=\"2550\" data-end=\"2602\">Department Operations, Quality, and Compliance</h3><ul><li data-start=\"2605\" data-end=\"2694\">Ensure smooth daily operation of dental services and achievement of productivity goals.</li><li data-start=\"2697\" data-end=\"2794\">Develop, implement, and monitor dental policies, procedures, protocols, and clinical standards.</li><li data-start=\"2797\" data-end=\"2910\">Lead QA/QI activities including chart audits, peer review, incident reports, and patient satisfaction feedback.</li><li data-start=\"2913\" data-end=\"3007\">Support initiatives tied to PCMH, Meaningful Use, and other performance/compliance programs.</li><li data-start=\"3010\" data-end=\"3135\">Maintain readiness for emergency preparedness, risk management, and regulatory compliance (OSHA, HIPAA/HITECH, HRSA, etc.).</li><li data-start=\"3138\" data-end=\"3250\">Monitor show rates and access utilization; implement strategies to reduce no-shows and improve community access.</li></ul><h3 data-start=\"3252\" data-end=\"3289\">Financial &amp; Strategic Oversight</h3><ul><li data-start=\"3292\" data-end=\"3370\">Lead dental budget development, financial planning, and resource allocation.</li><li data-start=\"3373\" data-end=\"3476\">Monitor revenue, expenses, and applicable funding sources;
