Our Permit Coordinators act as the liaison between the company, customer and municipalities to pull and expedite permits for home services installations and build outs. Keeping you comfortable with expert heating, cooling, plumbing and electrical service Since 1974. Parker & Sons has been serving homeowners and businesses for over 50 years and is recognized nationally for being one of the most knowledgeable heating, cooling, plumbing, and air quality contractors in the industry. Serving Maricopa, Pinal, and Gila Counties, Parker & Sons continues after all these years to maintain an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and even won the BBB Torch Award For Ethics (Twice!) THIS IS AN ON-SITE ROLE AND NOT REMOTE What’s In It For Me? $20.00 - $23.00 per hour DOE Monthly Performance Bonuses Robust PTO Plan Health, Vision and Dental plans for you and your family to choose from 401K Retirement Plan with company match Life Insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Special Program Options: FSA, EAP, Legal Services, and Identity Theft Continuous Training for your Professional Development Working in a dynamic, collaborative, and fun environment Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm (w/30min lunch) Responsibilities What Will I Do? Submit all required permits on behalf of operations Review submittal requests to check that permit documentation is complete Communicate to appropriate teams when documentation needs are not met Design and cut sheets to proper jurisdiction Submit completed packets to appropriate municipality Pay fees as needed and submit expense reports Receive and log redline notices and communicate to the dept what changes are required. Manage alerts from municipal communications Log permit statuses within ST and on the Tracker Store permits & documents within project folders Schedule inspections with municipalities Complete Siteplans Qualifications Do I have What it Takes? 1-2 years of relevant experience Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook Ability to learn our Operational Software Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a diverse group of people, including technicians, customers, vendors, and co-workers Strong written and spoken communication skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines Have attention to detail and ensure accuracy with all tasks and reporting Ability to ‘think on your feet’- have solid analytical & problem-solving skills Must bring a positive mindset to your team and specialty department Maintain a “Whatever it Takes” company culture Must be able to work with minimal supervision at times Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen Wrench Group and its affiliates are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
