And together, we make a difference.</p>\n<p><br>We are looking for a local, energetic individual who can work from our Newport Beach office in accordance with our hybrid schedule to collaborate with our team as a Job Captain. This team member will join a highly creative group dedicated to problem solving and design excellence within the Science and Technology studio. An ideal candidate is an innovative thinker with strong design and space planning experience, as well as exceptional client relationship skills.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate and lead projects from pre-design through project closeouts</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare contract documents</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attend site walks to conduct site verifications and update backgrounds</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attend client meetings (virtually and / or in-person)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work efficiently and willingness to learn and train junior staff</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare project schedules and work plans</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage team members, consultants, and vendors on projects of varying size, scope, and complexity</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cultivate and nurture all client relationships</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work in conjunction with Project Manager to meet scheduled deliverable deadlines</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span>:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>2+ years of experience in the field of Interior Architecture</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong organization skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong proficiency in CAD, Autodesk Revit systems, and Microsoft Office Suite</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>LEED and WELL accreditation a plus, as we are committed to the principles of sustainable design and resilient communities</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of building codes and a strong understanding of design standards</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attention to detail and accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Possess strong and engaging communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas in interviews and other presentations</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Life at Hendy</span></p>\n<p>Hendy has been consistently recognized as a Best Place to Work and is proud to be an employee-owned company through our ESOP.
