    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>The Opportunity&nbsp;</strong></p><p><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Reporting to the Leader, National Casualty and Bodily Injury Claims, you have a track record of progressively challenging claims handling.&nbsp;You will be accountable for the investigation, negotiation and settlement of Intermediate Third-Party Bodily Injury claims.&nbsp; You are motivated by a challenge and strive to continually develop yourself and others.&nbsp; You actively support change and seek to improve. You have effectively managed a portfolio of Automobile Bodily Injury, or Accident Benefit Claims, or Automobile PD Claims of increasing complexity.&nbsp; You continually support the Team environment and raise your hand to assist others. You have a desire to be part of a diverse, highly engaged and high-performance team.</span></p><p><span lang=\"EN-CA\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p><strong>What to Expect</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Reporting to the Team Leader, Casualty, you are accountable for managing a portfolio of Intermediate Bodily Injury Claims.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Engage all stakeholders in the effective management of a claim including underwriting and senior leadership</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Confirming policy coverages, investigating claims to determine liability and quantum.&nbsp; </span><span>Maintaining detailed file records.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Attending/participating in mediations, pre-trials and settlement initiatives.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Settle claims directly with Plaintiff’s Counsel.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Direct and Instruct Defence Counsel.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Professional, friendly, and courteous in all interactions, whether with customer, co-workers or vendors</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Perform well in a busy operation and remain calm under pressure</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Strive to continually push the boundaries of your adjusting experience and personal learnings</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Team player adaptable to changing environment</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Strong written and verbal communication skills</span></li><li><span>Ability to work independently</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What You Bring&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">University degree, a college diploma or the CIP designation</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Minimum 3 years of claims handling experience, auto adjusting experience preferred.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Professional, friendly and courteous in all interactions, whether with customers or co-workers</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Perform well in a busy operation and remain calm under pressure</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Team player adaptable to a changing environment</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">You’re dependable with strong interpersonal skills</span></li><li><span>You have strong communication skills</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">You’re focused on building engagement and culture</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Proficient in MS Office and strong computer skills</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Bilingualism in both English and French or other languages is an asset</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"EN-CA\" style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Licensed in multiple provinces is an asset</span></span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span lang=\"EN-CA\"><strong>Salary Range:</strong> $51,300 - $94,400</span></p>",
