    "description": "<h2>Opportunity Details</h2>\n<p><strong>Position Title:</strong> Clinical Chief Medical Officer/Facility Medical Director</p>\n<p><strong>Location:</strong> Harahan, LA</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>River Oaks Hospital is recruiting a Psychiatrist for their Inpatient Adult and Addiction Programs.</strong> River Oaks Hospital, located in the suburbs of New Orleans, Louisiana, is a 126-bed private psychiatric facility for adults, adolescents, and children. Among our programs is The New Orleans Institute, a nationally recognized trauma treatment program. For the past 40 years, River Oaks has established a tradition of excellence in the treatment of acute psychiatric illness, dual diagnosis, alcohol and drug detoxification, trauma-based disorders, compulsive behaviors and eating disorders.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Position Overview:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Employment Type: Full-time Hospital Employed</li>\n <li>Schedule / Hours: Onsite, Monday–Friday</li>\n <li>Patient Volume: negotiable</li>\n <li>Location: Harahan, LA</li>\n <li>Practice Setting: Inpatient ages 12 and older</li>\n <li>Call requirements: 1 night a week, overnight telephonic call, 1:4 weekend call</li>\n <li>Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary with BH Techs, BH RN, Psychiatric NPs, Social Workers, and Therapists</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities: </u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for child and adolescent patients.</li>\n <li>Participate in daily treatment team meetings.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.</li>\n <li>Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.</li>\n <li>A pivotal Clinical Leadership position involving direct patient care coupled with administrative responsibilities such as staff oversight and contribution to high-level administrative/clinical meetings</li>\n <li>Clinical responsibilities encompass conducting admission evaluations, managing daily patient care, leading treatment teams, and liaising with clinical and medical staff</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Compensation and Benefits:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive base salary & bonus opportunities</li>\n <li>Health insurance, dental, vision benefits, 401K, stock options and more.</li>\n <li>Relocation Assistance if needed and sign-on bonus.</li>\n <li>Malpractice coverage, Paid time off and CMEs offered.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Board Certified in General Psychiatry </li>\n <li>Must be comfortable treating ages 12 and older </li>\n <li>Active LA license or ability to obtain licensure</li>\n <li>Prior leadership experience is required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>About the Organization & Community:</u></strong></p>\n<p>River Oaks Hospital is located just minutes from the world’s most fascinating city!
