Ensures all equipment used is in working order and inspected daily. Uses care in moving packages and always works with safety in mind. Essential Functions:</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.</li>\r\n\t<li>Operate motor vehicles safely and legally.</li>\r\n\t<li>Be able to quickly locate specific addresses.</li>\r\n\t<li>Be able to communicate and complete assigned tasks via a smartphone application (training provided).</li>\r\n\t<li>Hand-load/unload material, as required.</li>\r\n\t<li>Walk and climb stairs.</li>\r\n\t<li>Have the ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs. regularly, as required.</li>\r\n\t<li>Must have sufficient literacy skills to read addresses and specific instructions efficiently, and complete required paperwork.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain communication and a cooperative, professional relationship with customers, the general public, and fellow Quicksilver employees.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Accountabilities:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Deliver packages safely and on time.</li>\r\n\t<li>Know, understand, and follow all company policies.</li>\r\n\t<li>Be available to work assigned and on-call shifts, clearing any changes with supervisory personnel.</li>\r\n\t<li>A uniform shirt, jacket, ID badge, black or navy slacks, and approved footwear must be worn at all times while on the job.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Supervision:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>First-line supervision is dispatchers/customer service. Additional supervision is received from assigned Quicksilver personnel and managers as needed.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Job Specifications:</strong><br />\r\n<strong>Education &amp; Experience:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>No formal requirements; one must be literate and fluent in English.</li>\r\n\t<li>No delivery experience is required but helpful.</li>\r\n\t<li>Must be 21 years of age or older.</li>\r\n\t<li>7-year proven safe driving record. No more than 1 minor moving violation within the last 3 years or DUI/Careless Driving within 5 years.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.</li>\r\n\t<li>Must provide current Motor Vehicle Report within last 30 days.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to lift 70 lbs. as required.</li>\r\n\t<li>Walking and climbing stairs.</li>\r\n\t<li>Be able to sit in a vehicle for extended periods and move in and out of the vehicle as needed.</li>\r\n\t<li>Pass the Department of Transportation physical and/or drug and alcohol screen (when required).</li>\r\n\t<li>Pass a Work Simulation screening (when required)</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Most working time is spent in vehicle or loading/unloading packages.</li>\r\n\t<li>Required to drive safely in all kinds of conditions (adverse weather conditions, traffic, etc.).</li>\r\n\t<li>No smoking is allowed on the job.
