The facilities include the areas for autopsies, surgical pathology gross, frozen sections and Histopathology</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><b>Education:</b></p>\n<p>Bachelor's degree in medical technology is required.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><b>Experience:</b></p>\n<p>Five years of experience in anatomical pathology is preferred.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><b>Certification/Licensure:</b></p>\n<p>None.</p>\n<h2>Additional Job Description</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain equipment used for testing and record daily preventative maintenance as required; be able to troubleshoot problems on instruments.</li>\n <li>Prepare frozen sections for pathologist review.</li>\n <li>Perform special stains.</li>\n <li>Clean and maintain gross and autopsy instruments.</li>\n <li>File surgical and autopsy blocks, keeping them in an orderly accessioned system.</li>\n <li>Assist designated personnel in the preparation of solutions and materials for various pathology procedures.</li>\n <li>Disposes of all tissue specimens as required.</li>\n <li>Informs appropriate personnel promptly when supplies and supplies of reagents are low or about to expire.</li>\n <li>Responsible for processing, embedding and cutting tissue.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Pay & General Benefits: </strong>Commensurate with experience.
