This role provides support functions to internal customers for the successful completion of nameplate requests.</p><p><br></p><p>Primary Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Present a positive welcoming interface through professional and compassionate attitude which encourages a strong internal customer confidence in the team’s devotion to the customer experience</li><li>Become a proficient operator of the mylar and laser nameplate machines to sufficiently act as a backup and support daily requests.</li><li>Evaluate and analyze all nameplate template submittals to translate into correct physical nameplates.</li><li>Proactively involve engineering or management in equipment upkeep and upgrades. Drive collaboration to ensure no gaps in performance occur.</li><li>Responsible for maintaining the nameplate procedures and identifying potential improvements.</li><li>Responsible to continually update personal knowledge of nameplate creation process.</li><li>Participates in special projects, as determined by management.</li><li>Provides training and mentoring to team members, as appropriate.</li><li>Other duties and tasks as assigned.</li></ul><p>Education:</p><ul><li>High School diploma or GED. An Associate’s degree in a directly relevant field and/or 2 to 5 years of direct experience with WEG low voltage motors is desired.</li></ul><p>Knowledge / training:</p><ul><li>Functional Microsoft Office skills.</li><li>Experience relevant to electrical and/or mechanical industries.</li><li>Knowledge of SAP, AUTOCAD LITE, and LABELVIEW preferred.</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>0-5 years of related experience</li></ul><p>About WEG Electric Corp.</p><p>WEG is the largest industrial electric motor manufacturer in the Americas and one of the largest manufacturers of electric motors in the world producing more than 21 million units annually.
