Goldberg, CEO/Founder&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;font-family: Arial;\"><br>The&nbsp;<strong>Operations Manager</strong> at the Seattle Convention Center is responsible for directly managing operations staff in preparing facilities for live events.&nbsp;<br><br>Typical duties could include, but are not limited to:&nbsp;<br></span></p><ul><li id=\"isPasted\">Accountable for the set up, troubleshooting, maintenance, operation, and strike of audio visual equipment. Provide direct management of large GS and breakout shows.</li><li>Lead communication with shared services departments (EQL, TRC, Purchasing, HR)</li><li>Lead creation of event paperwork, orders, transfers, and oversee scheduling of team.</li><li>Maintain communication channels with operations, sales, and logistics teams. &nbsp;</li><li>Oversee inventory and upkeep of storage spaces. &nbsp;</li><li>Conduct regular inventories including cycle and consumable counts.</li><li>&bull;Be safety conscious. &nbsp;Promote safety with all team members and in every situation.</li><li>Build relationships with the internal and external convention center teams.</li><li>Assist sales team to build client relationships before, during, and after event.</li><li>Mentoring and Training of Center Technician Team, including hiring/firing responsibilities</li><li>Attendance at operations meetings, site visits, and team meetings</li><li>Develop strategy and future planning with National Operations Manager</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;font-family: Arial;\"><br><br>To be a successful&nbsp;<strong>Operations Manager</strong>, you must have the following:&nbsp;<br></span></p><ul><li id=\"isPasted\">Bachelor&#39;s degree or equivalent experience&nbsp;</li><li><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">M</span>inimum 3 years operation of Audio Visual equipment&nbsp;</li><li>Min 2 year supervisory experience</li><li>Min 2 year Project or Production Management experience</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Base Salary Range:</strong>&nbsp;$82,500 - $122,500 This represents the low and high end of the company&#39;s base salary range for this position.
