This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on maintenance experience, excellent technical ability, and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship across a varied outdoor environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the overall presentation, safety, and operational standards of the park, supporting both guest satisfaction and the smooth day-to-day running of the site.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tractor operation experience is highly desirable, alongside general handyman and multi-trade maintenance skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the Role</span></p>\n<p>Working across the caravan and camping park, you will carry out a wide range of planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance duties. The position requires a proactive individual who can work independently, identify issues before they escalate, and consistently maintain high site standards. This is a physically active outdoor role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and can adapt to changing operational priorities during busy periods.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities – Reporting to the Maintenance Manager</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>General Site Maintenance</li>\n<li>Maintain the overall appearance, cleanliness, and functionality of the park grounds and facilities.</li>\n<li>Carry out daily inspections of the site and report or resolve maintenance issues promptly.</li>\n<li>Ensure pathways, roads, fencing, drainage areas, and communal spaces remain safe and well maintained.</li>\n<li>Facilities Upkeep &amp; Repairs</li>\n<li>Perform general repairs and maintenance across park buildings, accommodation units, utility areas, and infrastructure.</li>\n<li>Complete minor carpentry, plumbing, painting, decorating, and repair tasks to a high standard</li>\n<li>Maintain water systems, fixtures, gates, signage, lighting, and external furniture.</li>\n<li>Preventive &amp; Reactive Maintenance.</li>\n<li>Respond efficiently to maintenance requests and operational breakdowns.</li>\n<li>Carry out preventative maintenance schedules on equipment, facilities, and infrastructure.</li>\n<li>Troubleshoot faults and implement practical repair solutions with minimal disruption</li>\n<li>Assist with pitch maintenance, seasonal setup, and operational support across the park</li>\n<li>Contribute to the smooth operation of the park during busy guest changeovers and events</li>\n<li>Safely operate and maintain machinery and powered equipment.</li>\n<li>Caravan Park Operations Support</li>\n<li>Tractor driving and towing experience is highly desirable</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">We are particularly interested in candidates with broad practical maintenance experience, including:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Property repairs</li>\n<li>Basic electrical fault finding</li>\n<li>Plumbing repairs</li>\n<li>Carpentry and joinery</li>\n<li>Exterior maintenance</li>\n<li>Health &amp; Safety Awareness</li>\n<li>Promote a safe environment for guests, staff, and contractors</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills &amp; Experience Required</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full UK driving license is required for this role. </li>\n<li>Proven experience in general maintenance, property repair, or handyman work</li>\n<li>Strong practical and technical problem-solving skills</li>\n<li>Ability to deliver high standards of workmanship with attention to detail</li>\n<li>Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions</li>\n<li>Experience operating maintenance equipment and machinery</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively</li>\n<li>Knowledge of preventative maintenance systems</li>\n<li>Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems</li>\n<li>Good communication skills and a professional attitude</li>\n<li>Desirable Experience &amp; Qualifications</li>\n<li>Tractor driving and implement operation</li>\n<li>Trailer towing experience (B+E desirable)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Experience within caravan parks, holiday parks, estates, or outdoor hospitality environments </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em>Meadowhead is committed to promoting equal opportunities in employment.
