    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\">GENERAL DESCRIPTION</p><p><strong>We are hiring for 2 shifts: day 7:30am-4:00pm and 2nd shift 3:00pm=11:30pm</strong></p><p>An A&amp;P mechanic inspects, services and repairs airplanes to ensure they&#39;re operating correctly and safely. A mechanic is responsible for ensuring that airplanes get regular maintenance and that any problems are fixed correctly. Mechanics may work on different parts of an aircraft, such as the engine, landing gear, brakes and pumps.</p><p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Completes aircraft and engine maintenance as required or needed.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Follows established and normal aviation safety procedures and processes.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Maintains complete and accurate maintenance records.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Conducts scheduled inspections and completes follow-up as required.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Inspects engines, landing gear, instruments, pressurized sections, brakes, valves, pumps, air-conditioning systems and other aircraft&nbsp;</p><p>related systems.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Complete necessary maintenance and repairs (replacements) on the aircraft, its subsystems, and components.</p><p>SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Federal Aviation Administration Airframe and Powerplant (A&amp;P) License.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Problem Solving/Analysis.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Meet experience requirements on airframes or powerplants.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Min 3-5 years A&amp;P experience.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Gulfstream experience preferred.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Strong mechanical ability and skills.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>An aptitude for working with complex equipment and understanding technology is also necessary.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Computer literate and understanding of electronics.</p><p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Talk and hear regularly.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Sitting is required.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing and/or balancing all day.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Use fingers and hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Work in hangars, on the flight line, or in repair shops utilizing hand, power tools, test equipment, ladders, and scaffolds.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Work outdoors in inclement weather conditions enduring high noise levels when making emergency repairs.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\">Must be able to pass drug and background screen.
