    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Day to Day: &nbsp;</strong>As a Lab Support Associate, you will perform specialized activities to support and improve the overall productivity of the lab. &nbsp;This is an entry level position. &nbsp;Yes, that means we will train the right person! &nbsp; &nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Advanced Testing-</strong> Characterization and problem solving using advanced analytical equipment.&nbsp;</li>\n <li><strong>Specification Testing-</strong> Evaluation of coatings system to specifications or other test requirements using ASTM (or other) test methods.&nbsp;</li>\n <li><strong>Quality Assurance Investigation-</strong> Prepare and test samples to support customer complaint investigation activities. Root Cause analysis and corrective actions based on knowledge of lab and plant processes.&nbsp;</li>\n <li><strong>Scale Up Support (Stage Gate)-</strong> Support scale up activities of new or difficult to manufacture formulations in the plant.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance to all record keeping and documentation requirements supporting laboratory activities.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Provide technical assistance to internal departments and customers.</li>\n <li>Ensure and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>COMPETENCIES:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Project Management- Demonstrates quality, proficiency, speed and complete accountability for assigned tasks. Accurately follows directions requiring minimal supervision.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Can safely operate/troubleshoot equipment at an intermediate level.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Intermediate knowledge of raw materials, processing and testing methods.</li>\n <li>Effective and proactive communication to project stakeholders.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Intermediate level of judgement and independent thinking.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work in a team environment.</li>\n <li>Color vision testing.</li>\n <li>Ability to comply to required housekeeping and safety expectations.</li>\n <li>Ability to comply with internal reporting requirements (notebooks, formulation sheets).</li>\n <li>PC Requirements- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams), Product Vision, D365, Salesforce.</li>\n <li>Effective communication with work contacts- peers, supervisor and other departments</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>RECOMMENDED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Job Type:</strong>&nbsp; Full-time</p>\n<p><strong>Benefits:&nbsp;</strong>TCI is committed to providing outstanding services and benefits for our employees.
