    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">JOB SUMMARY:  </span></p>\n<p><span>To guard and protect the guests that use the </span><span>F</span><span>orest </span><span>H</span><span>ome pools and lake facilities</span><span>.</span><span> </span><span>T</span><span>o maintain cleanliness and safety of all aquatics facilities and to provide excellent customer service </span><span>in order to</span><span> create a fun, welcoming</span><span> Christ centered environment.</span><span> </span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">JOB DETAILS:</span></p>\n<p><span>We are currently hiring and scheduling shifts for this role.  No experience is needed and we start hiring at 16 years old. Forest Home will provide all training, including CPR training, as well as pay for all certification fees. Start Dates and End dates are both flexible.  Our Recreation options are open year round.  During Summer, we have lifeguard shifts available from 9am to 11pm daily.  Starting in October, we close our aquatic options, but lifeguards are able to work weekends in our other recreation areas.  Starting Pay is $14 an hour.  Flexibility for school schedules as well as summer vacations.  Once you apply, your application will be reviewed in 48 hours and we will email you with next steps.</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Perform lifeguard duties in aquatics programs as assigned, which include a lake front and </span><span>serveral</span><span> swimming pools</span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span>Obtains and maintains Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR and AED certifications </span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span>Reaches and maintains a level of physical fitness that meets or exceeds the American Red Cross standard for lifeguards (500 meter swim, 10 foot dive and swim with brick, tread water for 3 minutes) </span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Supports and upholds Recreation safety plans and procedures</span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span>Assures equipment is inspected and maintained</span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span>Provide excellent and Christ like service to guests and fellow staff</span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span>Performs other duties as assigned</span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:   </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Current </span><span>American Red Cross</span><span> </span><span>CPR, First Aid, Lifeguard, and </span><span>AED </span><span> certification</span><span>, or be willing and </span><span> </span><span>psychically</span><span> </span><span>able to be certified</span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Working towards High School diploma or equivalent</span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span>Prior l</span><span>ifeguard</span><span> experience </span><span>p</span><span>referred </span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span>Preferred</span><span> experience in job or ministry that requires guest interaction and service with people of all ages.  </span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS: </span><span>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
