    "description": "<p>Now accepting resumes for possible future openings of qualified individuals to serve as Instructors at the U.S. Army Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) school at Fort Rucker, Alabama.\n<br>\n<span style=\"color: inherit; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bolder\">Responsibilities</span>\nProvide subject matter expertise instructing SERE students in accordance with the course management plan.\n<br>\n<span style=\"color: inherit; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bolder\">Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</span>\n</p><ul>\n<li>Superior communication and mentorship skills</li>\n<li>Excellent leadership and management skills</li>\n<li>Expertise with the various skills taught at SERE</li>\n</ul>\n<br>\n<span style=\"color: inherit; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bolder\">Qualifications</span>\n<span style=\"color: inherit; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bolder\">Required:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Full spectrum SERE-C graduate, to include Wartime, Peacetime Governmental Detention (PGD) and Hostage Detention (HD) training.</li>\n<li>US Citizen</li>\n<li>SECRET clearance</li>\n<li>Certified to instruct IAW USA SERE School Instructor Certification Program</li>\n<li>\nMust pass a physical examination and urinalysis screening. Instructors will be subjected to high levels of physical and mental stress in the performance of normal duties.\n</li>\n<li>Physical requirements may include holding up to 75 pounds of supported weight; lift, lower, and reach overhead while holding up to 10 pounds of equipment; lift and carry 50 pounds up to 50 meters/10 minutes; lift and lower up to 75 pounds of supported weight; stand for 50 minutes with a 10-minute break; navigate uneven terrain for up to 200 m.</li>\n<li>Must pass a SERE Human Factors Psychological Test</li>\n<li>Present a professional and credible image at all times<br><br><br><br><span style=\"color: inherit; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bolder\">Preferred:</span></li>\n<li>Expertise in the skills taught within the various SERE sections.</li>\n<li>Teaching and management experience in a DoD SERE-related program</li>\n<li>A fully certified Evaluator in Field Training IAW the US Army Staff and Faculty Certification Plan.</li>\n</ul>\n",
