Primary Purpose:
The Cylinder Handler performs a variety of duties related to the loading, preparation, filling, and shipping of cylinders as required.
Key Accountabilities:
Load / unload trucks confirming cylinder quantities, styles and product mix. This requires the shunting of trucks, the use of a forklift and proficiency in cylinder handling. Put away stock, count cylinder loads and warehouse housekeeping. Fill cylinders as required. Perform visual, physical and odor tests on cylinders before filling and determine whether re-testing and /or repairs are necessary Complete and maintain quality control documentation per company and governmental requirements. Meet established standards for productivity and quality.
