Inspect work completed on components to internal inspection criteria for compliance with quality or engineering requirements.</p><p><strong>What do we want to know about you? </strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma/GED</li><li>3 years of experience in Manufacturing</li><li>Ability to work independently.</li><li>Basic shop math skills in all units of measure, along with ability to read and use gauges and measuring instruments.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while having a high degree of attention to details.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>What will your typical day look like? </strong></p><ul><li>Perform surface finish operations.</li><li>Perform gaging.</li><li>Utilizing manual equipment and automated equipment in accordance with manufacturing and quality procedures.</li><li>Inspect work completed on components to internal inspection criteria for compliance with quality or engineering requirements.</li><li>Operating an industrial truck.&#xa0;</li></ul><p><strong>What about the physical demands of the job?</strong></p><ul><li>Exposure to shop floor requires wearing PPE.</li><li>Walking, climbing, stooping, bending, lifting is all part of the hands-on learning process.</li><li>Frequent and prolonged standing/walking.</li><li>Heavy lifting (45+ pounds).</li><li>Repeat bending, straight pulling and pushing.</li><li>Exposure to intermittent noise (90DB).</li><li>Ability to distinguish basic colors.</li><li>Exposure to epoxy, solvent, degreasers, paint, vapors, heat, dust and smoke from burning.</li></ul><p>You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p>Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary for this role is $20.95 per hour, with progression in 12 months to full rate. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
