  "key_responsibilities": "<div><!--block-->The Team Lead Naval Architecture (NA) is responsible for assisting the NA Capability Manager by leading a portion of the NA Team in either Halifax/Ottawa/Victoria.</div><ul><li><!--block-->Supports the Capability Manager and may perform management duties when the Manager is absent or out of office.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Manage work assignments/allocations for direct reports, including negotiations with PMs &amp; implementing resulting ERP updates (or replacement tool).&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Review/approve timesheets for direct reports.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Conduct performance personnel reviews for direct reports, including establishment of Personal Development Plans (PDPs).&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Establish and maintain recurring one-on-one meetings with direct reports.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Provides encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Assists the Capability Manager with hiring processes (e.g., conduct candidate screening, first round interviews, etc.) and new team member training.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Assist Capability Manager with Department strategies and initiatives.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Answers team member questions, helps with team member problems, and oversees team member work for quality and guideline compliance.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Supports the Capability Manager to develop strategies to promote team members to meet the company performance goals.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Conducts team meetings to update team members on best practices and continuing expectations.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Other duties assigned by the Capability Manager.&nbsp;</li></ul>",
