    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>DESCRIPTION&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems.</p><p><strong>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.</li><li>Maintenance operations include external grounds maintenance as seasonally appropriate and necessary to maintain safety.&nbsp;</li><li>Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.</li><li>Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.</li><li>Completion of monthly checklists for building and grounds maintenance and vehicle maintenance logs.</li><li>Plans repair work using buildings blueprints or equipment manual as needed.</li><li>Performs routine maintenance on building systems.</li><li>Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.</li><li>Maintain confidentiality for all information regarding clients, staff, and GCLC obtained as a result of employment at GCLC.&nbsp;</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>High School diploma or high school equivalent is required.</li><li>At least one (1) year of experience in janitorial, maintenance work, construction and/or plumbing.&nbsp;</li><li>Must pass CYFD/FBI fingerprint clearance check to maintain employment.&nbsp;</li><li>Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license.&nbsp;</li><li>Must pass and maintain Driving Record clearance in accordance with GCLC policies and procedures.&nbsp;</li><li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) both verbal and written is preferred, but not required.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>SKILLS AND ABILITIES</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.</li><li>Must comply with all applicable OSHA and other regulatory safety requirements in the operation of such tools.</li><li>Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.</li><li>Ability to use hand tools and power tools.</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills.</li></ul><p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Physical work is a primary part of job including prolonged periods of standing and walking.</li><li>Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.</li><li>Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 50 pounds.&nbsp;</li><li>Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.</li><li>Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.</li><li>Hearing and vision abilities within normal range (corrected) to drive safely and to observe and communicate with passengers.</li></ul></div>\n",
