This role focuses on providing same-day, episodic care for a broad range of acute and non-emergent conditions in an outpatient setting.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Providers will work independently and collaboratively within a supportive clinical team to deliver efficient, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The clinic operates on 12-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM), offering flexible scheduling and extended access to care for the community.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>* Evaluate and treat patients presenting to a walk-in clinic for acute and non-emergent conditions</p>\n<p>* Perform focused history and physical exams</p>\n<p>* Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)</p>\n<p>* Diagnose and manage common conditions such as infections, minor injuries, rashes, musculoskeletal complaints, and other episodic concerns</p>\n<p>* Provide treatment plans, prescribe medications, and coordinate appropriate follow-up care</p>\n<p>* Deliver patient education on diagnoses, medications, and self-care</p>\n<p>* Collaborate with supervising physicians and clinical staff as needed</p>\n<p>* Document all encounters accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)</p>\n<p>* Maintain compliance with clinic protocols, safety standards, and quality metrics</p>\n<p>Schedule</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>* 12-hour shifts available</p>\n<p>* Clinic hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM</p>\n<p>* Flexible scheduling options including weekdays, weekends, and rotating coverage</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>* Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)</p>\n<p>* Active Illinois license (or eligibility to obtain)</p>\n<p>* National certification in respective discipline</p>\n<p>* Prior experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or walk-in clinic settings preferred</p>\n<p>* Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage a wide range of presenting complaints</p>\n<p>* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, independent practice environment</p>\n<p>* Excellent communication and patient care skills</p>\n<p>* Experience with EMR systems preferred</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>⸻</p>\n<p>Preferred Experience</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>* 2+ year in urgent care, emergency medicine, retail clinic, or similar episodic care setting</p>\n<h2>Pay Transparency</h2>\n<p>Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is between $110,000-$125,000 plus production bonus on an annualized basis.
