    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><i><span><strong><u>Job Overview</u></strong></span></i></p><p><span>Performs duties operating a large semi-tractor trailer or roll-off truck and other motorized equipment and vehicles used in the transport of bulk solid waste material.</span></p><p><span><strong><u>Salary&nbsp;</u></strong></span></p><p><span>$43,680 - $52,748</span></p><p><span><strong><u>Ideal Candidate</u></strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">The Hillsborough County Solid Waste Department is seeking a Solid Waste Transfer Equipment Operator to operate semi-tractor trailers, roll-off trucks and other motorized equipment and vehicles.&nbsp; The ideal candidate will have advanced experience in semi-tractor trailer operation.&nbsp; Preferably, candidate will possess knowledge of solid waste operations.&nbsp; Candidate must have the ability to&nbsp;be exposed to loud sounds in a waste transfer station, handle inordinate smells from trash and exposure to dirt-filled grounds.&nbsp; Candidate will also perform manual labor in outside environment, exposed to heat, sun, high humidity, rain and other adverse weather conditions.&nbsp; Candidate will walk/stand for prolonged periods of time (approximately six (6) hours) per day. The job also requires frequent fine manipulations, repetitive motion, lifting/carrying objects weighing up to 30 pounds, and occasional bending, crawling, climbing and stooping.&nbsp; Candidate must possess a Class A Commercial driver’s license and have the ability to pass a DOT/CDL physical examination annually.</span></p><p style=\"-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px;
