As a co-op student, you will work on meaningful projects that support our operations and give you hands-on experience in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.</p>\n<p>Join S&amp;C to make an impact on tomorrow’s energy challenges!</p>\n<p><strong>Work Arrangement: </strong>Onsite</p>\n<p><strong>Work Term:</strong>&nbsp;4 Months (Sept. 2026 - Dec. 2026) or 8 Months (Sept. 2026 - Apr. 2027)</p>\n<p><strong>Compensation</strong></p>\n<p>At S&amp;C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, with a commitment to transparency in our pay practices. <strong>The hourly pay range for this position is $21.80 - $27.00.&nbsp;</strong>Individual pay within this range is determined by several compensable factors, including the year of study, type of academic program, and the number of prior co-op work terms completed.</p>\n<p><strong>Join Our Team as an Associate Buyer (Co-op)!</strong></p>\n<p>The&nbsp;Associate Buyer is responsible for forecasting, analyzing, and managing the capacity of a product line within the organization. They address issues related to individual production line planning and play a key role in troubleshooting within Oracle ERP to ensure smooth and continuous production.</p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinate the scheduling and production planning for assigned assembly line at S&amp;C.</li>\n <li>Partners with production planners and schedulers to determine the needs of the line, supply requirements and optimal scheduling for assembly operations.</li>\n <li>Monitor current inventory counts, dynamically recommending purchases based on adjusted production schedules and adjustments to one hand numbers when appropriate.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Act as a liaison between internal customers, facilitating communication and ensuring all parties are informed when production schedule adjustments or changes are needed.</li>\n <li>Update and maintain item data in Oracle ERP system to achieve optimal inventory levels for production goals.</li>\n <li>Investigate and address challenges related to product variations and supplier issues, collaborating with the buyers to develop resolutions when needed.</li>\n <li>Generate and issue reports for weekly or monthly forecasts.</li>\n <li>Understand and comply with all applicable company policies and rules.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What you’ll Need To Succeed:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Currently pursuing a post-secondary in Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.</li>\n <li>Enrolled and eligible for a 4 or 8 month Co-op work term starting in the Fall of 2026.</li>\n <li>Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members, adjusting communication approaches based on the audience.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently as a part of the team.</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail and ability to complete activities with accuracy.</li>\n <li>Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills and an ability to identify potential issues and seek support for resolution.</li>\n <li>Strong proficiency in utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for production planning process.</li>\n <li>Proficient in Microsoft office products, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Effort:</strong></p>\n<p>Normal or frequent minor physical effort required for the day-to-day activity in the workplace.
