This role is perfect for someone who is eager to learn, dependable, and takes pride in supporting a well-maintained guest environment.</p><p><br></p><p>At this time, we are only able to consider candidates who are authorized to work in Canada without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Maintenance &amp; Repairs</strong></p><ul><li>Perform routine preventive maintenance on hotel systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, and spa amenities.</li><li>Assist with daily hot tub chemical testing and balancing under supervision.</li><li>Respond to maintenance requests in guest rooms and public areas.</li><li>Complete basic repairs such as patching, painting, fixture replacement, and minor plumbing.</li></ul><p>Operational Support</p><ul><li>Log and track maintenance tasks in the internal work order system.</li><li>Assist with property inspections to identify maintenance needs.</li><li>Support snow removal, landscaping, and seasonal prep as needed.</li><li>Handle waste disposal including trash, recycling, and electronic waste</li></ul><p>Team &amp; Guest Interaction</p><ul><li>Collaborate with Front Desk, Housekeeping, and F&amp;B to resolve maintenance issues.</li><li>Communicate professionally with guests when responding to room issues.</li><li>Follow safety procedures and property standards</li></ul><p><strong>Who You are</strong></p><ul><li>2+ years experience in hotel, resort, or commercial maintenance.</li><li>Must have a valid drivers License and own a vehicle.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of building systems, tools, and basic repairs.</li><li>Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, and mechanical systems.</li><li>Comfortable using a computer to communicate, process invoices, and manage maintenance documents/logs</li><li>Strong communication skills (written and verbal).</li><li>A self-starter who’s organized, solutions-focused, and calm under pressure.</li><li>Someone who takes pride in a job well done and understands the impact of small details.</li><li>A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.</li><li>Adaptable to changing priorities and weather conditions.</li></ul><p>Physical Requirements</p><ul><li>Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally</li><li>Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and kneeling throughout shift</li><li>Able to respond quickly to emergencies and reach all areas of the hotel</li><li>Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays</li></ul><p><strong>About Gravity Haus</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Gravity Haus is a community-driven adventure lifestyle brand with hotels, restaurants, and experiences that empower a modern way of travel.
