    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Join Virginia Housing and help make a difference as a Sr. Program Compliance Officer</strong><strong>. </strong></p>\n<p>This important role will be responsible for managing and monitoring a complex property portfolio and ensuring mortgagor/owner compliance with program, loan, and regulatory requirements imposed by Virginia Housing, HUD, IRS (including Section 42), and Exchange.  This role will serve as a leader and technical expert within the regional team and to our external partners on all matters related to, Virginia Housing Rental- Loan and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Housing programs. This role will also perform comprehensive compliance audits, including physical inspections, and assist in the development of guidelines and process improvements for internal efficiency. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Virginia Housing is one of the nation’s premier housing finance agencies.
