The Senior QA Engineer will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets clients needs while being cost effective.</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"color: #b00000; font-size: small; font-family: 'Open Sans',sans-serif;\"></span><br></p>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"color: black; font-size: 8pt; font-family: 'Open Sans',sans-serif; font-weight: bold;\">In this role you will:</span></p>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 13px;\">Reviews requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. </span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 13px;\">Is autonomous, performs and takes ownership of the testing activities with barely any guidance.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 13px;\">Provides his/her analytical thinking and support to the team.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 13px;\">Designs, develops and executes automation scripts using defined tools. </span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 13px;\">Identifies, records, documents thoroughly and tracks bugs. </span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 13px;\">Performs thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved. </span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 13px;\">Monitors the process of fixing bugs and ensures the success of corrections. </span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 13px;\">Investigates the causes of non-conforming software. </span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 13px;\">Tracks quality assurance metrics like test execution progress, defect densities and open defect counts. </span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 13px;\">Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies </span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 13px;\">Works on issues of limited to moderate scope. </span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 13px;\">Receives predetermined work assignments that are subject to a moderate level of control and review. </span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 13px;\">Raise flags to QA Lead on needs and opportunities for improvement of Quality practice. </span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 13px;\">Follows Hangar Agile governance approaches - such as ticket descriptions, metrics, dashboards and reporting. </span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 13px;\">Collaborates with project management teams to ensure successful delivery of projects. </span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 13px;\">Follows Hangar standards and supports the overall success of this group within the organization. </span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 13px;\">Follows process and documentation standards with the end goal of top-efficiency and quality. </span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 13px;\">Evaluates and promotes teamwork, initiative, work ethic, values adherence and reports findings to discipline leads. </span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"color: black; font-size: 8pt; font-family: 'Open Sans',sans-serif; font-weight: bold;\">What are we looking for?
