This role is responsible for driving DevOps culture, ensuring reliability of Windows‑based environments, managing IIS-based workloads, and leading cloud-native modernization using Azure services and Docker containers. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Azure DevOps, Windows Server administration, IIS, Azure, and containerization, with strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.</p><p></p><p><b>Education Requirements: </b></p><p>Bachelor’s degree preferred, associate degree in combination with significant experience will be considered in lieu of degree.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities: </b></p><p>DevOps Leadership &amp; Strategy</p><ul><li>Lead a team of DevOps engineers in designing scalable, secure CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.</li><li>Define DevOps standards, best practices, governance frameworks, and deployment workflows.</li><li>Partner with Architecture, Development, QA, and Cloud Engineering teams to streamline software delivery.</li><li>Drive Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) adoption and cloud-native transformation.</li></ul><p></p><p>CI/CD Pipeline Development</p><ul><li>Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for .NET, Java, and microservices applications.</li><li>Automate build, testing, packaging, and deployment using Azure DevOps Pipelines (YAML and classic).</li><li>Implement quality gates, automated testing, and security scans.</li></ul><p>Infrastructure &amp; Environment Management</p><ul><li>Manage and optimize Windows Server environments, especially IIS web applications.</li><li>Support hybrid hosting models, on-premises environments and Azure cloud workloads.</li><li>Oversee configuration management, release automation, and environment promotions.</li></ul><p>Cloud Engineering (Azure)</p><ul><li>Deploy, manage, and monitor Azure services: App Services, VMs, AKS, ACR, Storage, Networking, Key Vault, etc.</li><li>Optimize cost, scalability, reliability, and security in Azure.</li><li>Integrate Azure cloud-native services into application delivery pipelines.</li></ul><p>Containerization &amp; Orchestration</p><ul><li>Containerize applications using Docker and manage container lifecycle.</li><li>Deploy and manage container workloads in Azure (e.g., AKS, ACI).</li><li>Implement best practices for container security, registry management, and image scanning.</li></ul><p>Monitoring, Logging &amp; Reliability</p><ul><li>Configure and maintain monitoring and logging platforms (App Insights, Log Analytics, Azure Monitor).</li><li>Improve system performance, reliability, and uptime through proactive analysis.</li><li>Build automated alerting and incident response workflows.</li></ul><p>Security &amp; Compliance</p><ul><li>Enforce DevSecOps practices, including secrets management and secure build pipelines.</li><li>Ensure adherence to SDLC, regulatory requirements, and audit guidelines.</li><li>Implement role-based access control (RBAC), identity governance, and policy enforcement.</li></ul><p></p><p><b> Basic Requirements: </b></p><ul><li>7&#43; years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Build/Release Engineering.</li><li>Strong expertise in Azure DevOps Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, Boards.</li><li>Deep experience with Windows Server, IIS, and enterprise hosting.</li><li>Proficiency with Docker and container-based deployments.</li><li>Solid understanding of both .NET and Java build/deployment workflows.</li><li>Hands-on Azure experience: ARM/Bicep(optional), Terraform, Azure networking, compute, and PaaS services.</li><li>Expertise in scripting languages: PowerShell, Bash, YAML.</li><li>Experience implementing monitoring/observability frameworks.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and automation skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>  Preferred Requirements: </b></p><ul><li>Experience with Kubernetes (AKS) or container orchestration.</li><li>Familiarity with GitOps (Flux, Argo CD) or Site Reliability Engineering practices.</li><li>Certifications: Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Solutions Architect, or similar.</li><li>Experience working in regulated industries (finance) is a plus.</li></ul><h1><a href=\"https://www.myworkday.com/advisorgroup/d/home.htmld\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"emphasis-3\">Current Employees and Contractors Apply Here</span></a></h1>",
